ISLAMABAD: A Finance Ministry spokesperson has said that there will be no new tax on items used by the common man in the coming mini budget.
Speaking on a Geo News show, Finance Ministry Spokesperson Muzammil Aslam said that rising prices in the global market had increased current account deficit and increased debt due to the corona epidemic of several countries.

He said that there is inflation all over the world but we are trying to manage and in 6 months the prices of food and drink have brought down. But, the prices of imported items have increased.
The spokesperson said that no burden has been placed on the common man in the mini budget.
