KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast light rain and intensity of cold wave in Karachi.
According to the PMD official, the western system is likely to enter the country on December 25 and under this system there is a possibility of light rain in Karachi on December 26 and 27.

The senior official of the meteorological department said that Karachi will continue to be under the grip cold wave from December 28 and in the meantime temperature may remain between 9 to 10 degrees Celsius.
The PMD official also said that even the first week of January, a cold wave will persist in the city.
