Islamabad: National Command and Operation Center chief Asad Umar has said that they had received a letter from the Covax of indicative supply of 17 million doses of AstraZeneca during first half of the year.

He announced this on his Twitter account.

 

In his tweet, Asad Omar said that coronavirus vaccine will be available from February and doses of 6 million vaccines will be given by March while 17 million vaccine doses will be given by June 2021.

He said that an agreement was reached with Kovacs 8 months ago to ensure the availability of the vaccine.
