KARACHI: One hundred and fifty Special Security Unit Commandos will continue to provide security to polio eradication teams in highly sensitive areas of Karachi during 6-day polio eradication campaign till October 29, 2016.
The Commandos have been deployed under the directives of Commandant SSU Sindh Police Mr. Maqsood Ahmed to ensure proper security to health workers taking part in administering anti-polio drops to children and also they could play effective role in making the polio free country.
The Commandant appealed the parents to get their children administered anti-polio drops and to keep their children protected from the disability due to polio.
