ISLAMABAD: The government and the opposition have reached an understanding on the NAB Ordinance (second amendment) 2019.
In the proposed bill, it has been recommended to slash the powers of NAB against the politicians and the government officers.
According to the bill, now the anti-graft watchdog will not file cases concerning abuse of powers against the government officers and politicians.
Sources said that the government had decided to introduce the NAB ordinance (second amendment) 2019 in the form of law with the support of the opposition.
