KARACHI: The decision of reopening middle schools is an unwise under he prevailing situation as the cases of coronavirus cases are increasing.
This was stated by Sindh Health Minister Azra Fazal Pecheh while speaking to a local TV.
The ratio of virus cases has jumped from 1.5 per cent to 3 per cent. There is a prediction of second wave of coronavirus, she warned.
She termed the decision of reopening the middle schools as an unwise in the prevailing situation.
Expressing her concern over reopening of Class 6,7 and 8, the minister cautioned the federal government against reopening the primary schools in haste. The primary schools should be reopened after at least 30 to 45 days, Dr Azra suggested.
