KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan on Monday announces the monetary policy, maintaining the policy rate at 7 per cent for the next two months.
The central bank’s monetary policy committee reviewed the economy and and decided to maintain the interest rate at 7 per cent.
It may be noted that the central bank had cut the interest rate by 6.25 per cent in the wake of coronovirus pandemic.
Earlier this year in March, the interest rate was 13.25 per cent, which had come down to 7 per cent now.
