KARACHI: Sindh Government spokesperson Murtaza Wahab on Saturday requested the federal and the Sindh government to reconsider the decision of opening the schools especially the primary sections from this month.
In a message posted on Twitter, the Sindh government spokesperson said that the situation still not certain and children may not be able to follow the standard operating procedures SOPs.

Last week, the centre and the provinces had agreed to reopen the educational institutions in phases from September 15 across the country.
In this connection, a meeting of the inter-provincial education ministers was held under the chairmanship of Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood.
The federal education ministry presented recommendations on reopening the educational institutions.
The meeting decided to resume educational activities at the educational institutions from Sept 15 across the country.
It was decided to resume the pre-primary and primary classes from Sept 30, 9th and 10th grade from Sept 15 and class 6 to 8 from Sept 23.
