Last chance to appoint counsel for spy Kulbhushan, Pakistan tells India

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has informed India of the court orders allowing last chance to appoint a lawyer for spy Kulbhushan Jadhav.

Recently, the Islamabad High Court had given the last chance to Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav to hire a counsel.

According to sources, Pakistan has informed India of the decision of the Islamabad High Court and a copy of the decision has also been sent to the Indian High Commission.

It may be recalled that the Islamabad High Court had recently ordered that India be given a chance till October 6 to appoint a lawyer for Kulbhushan Jadhav.

Earlier, the government had filed a petition in the Islamabad High Court seeking appointment of a lawyer for Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav on the issue of implementation of the International Court of Justice’s decision.
