Peshawar: The Peshawar High Court on Wednesday remarked that the prime minister and the chief minister should know whether the people traveling on a airconditioned Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) bus are hungry or have eaten meal.

A case was heard in the Peshawar High Court against the increase in flour prices.

Provincial Minister for Food Qalandar Lodhi, Secretary Food Department, DC Peshawar and Advocate General appeared before the court.

During the hearing, Justice Qaiser Rashid inquired the food minister that the prices of flour have gone up, people are shouting for flour, what are you doing? You are the food minister, you should see these things.

He observed that the issues were not addressed by the inauguration of the BRT project. The PM and the CM when visit should take stock of the problems of the masses.

He directed the food minister to discuss the flour price issue in the cabinet and solve it.
