Peshawar: Sugar is being sold at record high price in Peshawar as the sweetener is available for Rs110 per kilo in the city.
According to the Federal Bureau of Statistics, the price of sugar in Peshawar is Rs10 per kg higher as compared to Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi, Quetta, Hyderabad and Rawalpindi.
In Peshawar, sugar is up to Rs15 per kg more expensive than in Sialkot, Gujranwala, Multan and Sukkur.
According to the statistics agency, sugar is being sold at Rs100 per kg in Quetta, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi and Hyderabad, while the same is being sold at Rs95 per kg in Sialkot, Gujranwala, Multan and Sukkur.
