PESHAWAR: Prime Minister Imran Khan has inaugurated the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s mega project Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) here on Thuraday.
Under this project costing more than Rs71 billion, 220 buses will run benefitting more than 350,000 passengers daily.
The citizens of Peshawar will now be able to travel in air-conditioned buses equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. They will have access to Wi-Fi and other facilities including mobile charging.
A latest passenger information system has been set up, while automatic gates have been installed on the platforms for the safety and efficient operation of passengers.
Automatic escalators and elevators are also available at bus stations for the convenience of passengers.
