Lahore: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Wednesday grilled Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar for two hours over issuing the liquor licences.
Earlier, the NAB Lahore had summoned Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar today for issuing liquor license.
Usman Buzdar appeared before the NAB officials in person. He stayed in the NAB office for about two hours.
According to NAB officials, a questionnaire was given to Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar.
The NAB officials said that the Punjab Chief Minister has been directed to submit a reply by August 18.
Bazdar in his statement on social media said that while fulfilling the legal requirements, he appeared before the NAB in person. I went to the NAB office in only one vehicle without any protocol.
He further said that he presented his position before the NAB and informed the facts on the issue of license with the view to remove the ambiguity on the issue of license before the NAB.
