Manchester: Opening batsman Shan Masood scored a century in the first Test against England becoming the first Pakistani opener to score a century on English soil in the 21st century.
He also became the sixth Pakistani batsman to score centuries in three consecutive innings.
On the second day of the Manchester Test, Shan Masood showed full confidence and remained steadfast in front of the English bowling line.
The opening bastman completed his century off 251 balls.
Masood is the first Pakistani opener of the current century to score a century in England. Before him, Saeed Anwar was the last Pakistani opener to score a century in England. He scored a century in the Oval Test in 1996.
It was Shan Masood’s third consecutive innings century with which he became the sixth Pakistani batsman to do so.
