Islamabad: A meeting of the National Coordinating Committee chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday decided to reopen restaurants, cafes, theaters and cinema halls across the country under SOP from August 10.
Tourist spots will be reopened from tomorrow.
However, shrines, business centers, expo centers are also being allowed to reopen from August 10.
After the meeting, Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar said in a briefing that marriage halls and educational institutions would be opened from September 15.
Asad Umar said that the final decision on opening of educational institutions would be taken on September 7.
He added that restaurants and cafes would be opened on August 10 and in this connection SOPs would be finalized in the next two days.
The federal minister said that hotels at tourist destinations would be opened on August 8 adding that public points, cinemas and theaters would be opened on Monday, August 10.
He further said that sports without spectators would be allowed and gyms would be allowed to open from August 10.
He said that standing in public transport will not be allowed. Marriage halls can be opened from September 15, beauty parlors, expo centers, shrines are also being allowed to open.
