Islamabad: All the educational institutions across the country would reopen on September 15.
This was decided in an inter-provincial online video conference chaired by Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood here on Wednesday.
The meeting was also attended by ministers and education secretaries of all provinces.
The conference discussed the opening of educational institutions, including important issues related to education.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government had suggested to reopen schools from Sept 1, but the other provinces opposed it.
Speaking on the decision of reopening schools from Sept 15, a spokesperson for Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani said that the schools in Sindh would reopen as per the federal governement’s decision on 15th of next month.
