Lahore: Punjab Information Minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan on Monday said that it has been decided to close markets across Punjab before the Eidul Azha from tonight.
The cabinet’s Anti-Corona Committee met in the Chief Minister’s House in Lahore to review various measures to curb the spread of coronavirus for Eid-ul-Azha.
Talking to media after the meeting, Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan said that a strict lockdown has been planned from today which will be applicable from tonight.
Chohan said that markets across Punjab would remain closed from tonight till August 5, while the Eid-ul-Fitr SOPs would also be implemented on Eid-ul-Azha.
