Intense weather system from India to bring heavy rain to Karachi today

Karachi: At least three people were killed in rain-related incidents in Karachi on Sunday.

According to the police and rescue sources, a child was electrocuted in Gulshan-e-Hadeed Phase 2, while a 22-year-old youth was electrocuted in Landhi Gaddafi Town.

Separately, a man was electrocuted at his house near Garden Fawara Chowk.

Meanwhile, the weather turned pleasent in the city after heavy rains.

However, due to accumulation of water on the roads the citizens are facing severe difficulties.

Intermittent rains with strong winds lashed different parts of the city including Malir, Model Colony, Saudabad, New Karachi, Airport, Landhi, Korangi, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Gharo and adjoining areas.
