Lahore: In a bid to get rid of the PTI-led government, the PML-N and PPP have agreed to convene the all parties conference (APC) after the Eidul Azha.
In this connection, a meeting was held between the leadership of both PPP and the PML-N here at the Bilawal House, Lahore.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, Qamar Zaman Kaira said that the opposition parties had been in touch with each other for a long time. A joint strategy will be chalked out to steer the country out of the crisis, he added.
He said that the meeting had agreed to constitute a joint opposition committee. PML-N ‘s Ayaz Sadiq, Khawaja Asif and Marriyum Aurangzeb will be a part of the said committee.
Kaira said that a serious legislation was about to be made in the parliament and the opposition would endorse the same with better coordination for the welfare of massess.
Hopefully the home work will be completed before the Eid, he said.
