MAKKAH: The Saudi government and the authorities have completed arrangement for the upcoming Hajj.
This was stated by the commander of the Haj Security Force.
A limited number of citizens from various countries will perform Hajj this year, according to media reports. Saudis or foreigners will not be allowed to visit the holy places without permission during the Hajj season.
All the check posts around Makkah have been activated and if needed the Hajj security force can impose lockdown in some areas or close certain thoroughfares.
The Saudi transport department said that the transport companies operating without Hajj permission would be fined.
