LAHORE: The Pakistan Muslim League-N on Sunday said that the liberation of Kashmir and a defeat to India was the writing on the wall.
Paying rich tributes to the people of Kashmir on the “Youm-e-Ilhaq-e-Pakistan” (Accession to Pakistan Day), PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif said that the destiny of both Pakistanis and the Kashmiris was the same.
The Quaid-e-Azam had termed the Kashmir as a jugular vein of Pakistan. The people of Kashmir had decided the accession to Pakistan prior to the establishment of Pakistan.
Shehbaz recalled that the Resolution of Kashmir’s Accession to Pakistan was unanimously passed during a meeting of the Muslim Conference on July 17, 1947 in Srinagar. Every Pakistani stands by the people of Kashmir in their legal and democratic struggle.
The Kashmir valley belongs to the people of Kashmir just as Palestine belongs to Palestinians and England belongs to English people, the PML-N president said.
