ANKARA: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that “we are ready to be a player in the Superstars League”.
The Turkish president made these remarks while addressing the ground-breaking ceremony of the locally manufactured TOGG car’s production center.
Erdogan said that every member of the nation, representing the country’s strength and productivity, has supported this project.
He said that the Turkish car is being discussed not only in the country but also in many countries of the world.
We plan to complete the factory in 18 months and start permanent car production in the last quarter of 2022, he added.
Erdogan said: “We are ready to be a player in the World Superstars League with our product’s range, technology, business model, business plan and suppliers.”
He said that the local car is one of the symbols of the vision of a big, strong and innovative country.
“I am confident that this will be a source of inspiration for new generations,” the Turkish president added.
