ISLAMABAD: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has cancelled licences of seven more pilots and an air hostess over suspicion.
CAA spokesperson Abdul Sattar Khokhar speaking to a private television channel said that the notification was issued after an approval from DG of the aviation in this connection.
The pilots whose licences were cancelled including Yayha Musawwir Sundela, Saqlain Akhtar, Muhammad Uzair Javed, Waseem Akhtar, Syed Saleem Ali, Ali Hassan Yazdani and Talha Ahmed. The licence of air hostess Shumaila Majeed was also cancelled.
The spokesperson said that five of the pilots were First Officers while three were Captains.
He added that the licences of 93 pilots had so far been cancelled. These licences have been cancelled for using unfair means in the written exams, he further said.
