The US president stated this in an interview with the American news channel Fox.
Trump said that he was against the mandatory wearing of masks for the people in the US because there should be some freedom for the people.
A few days ago, US National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci had said that state and local rulers should force people to wear masks. He added that the mask is very important to protect against the corona virus, so we should all use it.
While some local officials have made it a mandatory condition for citizens to wear masks rather than personal choice.
It should be noted that US President Donald Trump has refused to wear a mask to protect himself from the coronavirus and at the same time has advised people to wear scarves.
But a few days ago, he also appeared in public wearing a mask, on which he was also criticised.
