Islamabad: The federal government has approved increase in the monthly licence fee of Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV).
A local TV citing sources said that the cabinet had approved to increase PTV licence fee from Rs35 to Rs100.
They added that the government had taken the approval from the cabinet through a circluation.
Every month, the government collects the PTV licence fee through electricity bills.
