LAHORE: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has claimed to have the support of 35-40 PML-N MPAs in the Punjab Assembly.

PTI leader Younis Ansari said that a forward bloc in the PML-N would soon emerge.

Sources said that the PML-N and PTI leaders had attended two dinners yesterday.

Younis Ansari said that six PML-N and one PPP MPA had already had a meeting with the Prime Minister Imran Khan and Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar.

Meanwhile, PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb had dismissed the reports of the forward bloc in the party. She added that the party was even more united now than the past.

She said that the PTI’s claim of the forward bloc is hollow like that of 10 million jobs and five million houses.

The PML-N spokesperson said that the government’s performance was zero and all its claims were just a lip service.
