CHILAS: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday said that the nations, which make difficult decisions progress in the world.
The premier made these remarks while speaking at a public meeting here after kicking of the construction work of Diamer Bhasha dam.
The prime minister said that the nations progress when they think of future. Those nations never make progress which avoid making difficult decisions. We have a successful example of China in this connection.
He said: “Unfortunately we hade made short term decisions in the past. It was a wrong decision to produce power from oil in the 90s.”
He said the PTI government had inherited $20 billion deficit. Poor decisions had caused a loss to the industrial development.
The prime minister said that the Diamer Bhasa dam would be the third largest water reservoir in the country.
We have planned to plant 10 billion trees in the country, he added.
