MARYLAND: US President Donald Trump has worn face mask for the first time in public here.
According to a foreign wire service, the US president wore face mask while visiting a military hospital here to inquire about the health of soldiers and frontline health staff.
Trump has worn the face mask 99 days after the CDC had recommended Americans to wear face coverings to limit the spread of Covid-19 on April 23.
Earlier, the US president was facing severe criticism for not persuading people to wear face masks to protect from the virus.
Trump was against the use of face mask. However, he had suggested to the American people to wear scarf to limit the spread of Covid-19 in the past.
