Hand-grenades, rocket launchers found from site of PTI rally

Karachi: A retired Rangers personnel was killed in a hand-grenade attack in Sachal area on Wednesday. 

SSP East Sajid Sadozai said that the unknown attackers riding on motorcycles hurled a hand-grenade at a bakery in the limits of Sachal police station. As a result, the owner of the bakery, who is former employee of Rangers, was killed.

Later, the attackers were managed to flee from the scene.

The deceased was indentified as Washiq.

It is to be noted that attacks were also carried out on Rangers in June in Karachi, Larkana and Ghotki.

Russian-made bombs were used in these attacks.
