Karachi: An anti-terrorism court on Tuesday indicted Lyari gang-war leader Uzair Baloch in the kidnapping and murder case of a trader.
Baloch was produced handcuffed before an ATC set up at the Central Jail.
A heavy deployment of Rangers was seen at the ATC during the hearing.
In the courtroom, Judge Fazil read out the indictment for Baloch.
According to the indictment, Baloch is accused of kidnapping of Abdul Samad for ransom. He demanded Rs1 million as ransom but killed the trader despite receiving Rs70, 000.
Later, the judge asked Uzair Baloch if he accepts his crime. To which, the Lyari gang war leader denied the allegations and pleaded not guilty.
