Lahore: Former Pakistan captain and chief selector Inzamamul Haq on Sunday said that questions will raise if the T20 World Cup is cancelled but the Indian Premier League IPL is organised.
In a statement, the former captain questioned that if a country can organise the IPL then why can’t the T20 World Cup is held.
There will be a huge damage to the cricket if a private league is preferred over the ICC event, he said.
Inzamam said that the T20 cup is possible if Australia and New Zealand together host the event.
He said that a private league should not be preferred over the international cricket.
