Pakistan reports lowest daily coronavirus cases since May 31

KARACHI: Pakistan has reported the lowest daily coronavirus cases 2,761 on June 29 (yesterday) since May 31.

On May 31, 2,785 tests had come back positive out of the total 14,993 tests. Since May 31 the daily cases have been reported over 3,000 in the country. Yesterday a total of 23,009 tests were carried out of which 2,761 came back positive.

The decision-makers have appreciated the positive development but expressed worries, fearing that people might stop following precautionary measures.

Meanwhile, as of Tuesday, the number of coronavirus cases has reached 2009,307 in the country while 4,307 people have so far died from the virus.

Globally, over 500,000 people have died from the coronavirus pandemic.
