SRINAGAR, Occupied Kashmir: Renowned Kashmiri leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani has reportedly ‘resigned from the All Parties Hurriyat Conference’ (APHC) on Monday.
According to Indian media reports, the 90-year-old Kashmiri leader had announced his resignation in an audio message sent to the APHC.
Geelani has been a face of Kashmiri politics for over three decades.
Indian forces has mostly kept the Kashmiri leader under house arrest since 2010.
Geelani has been chairman of the APHC since 2003.
