ISLAMABAD: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has stopped the airlines from issuing tickets to the passengers having symptoms of coronavirus.

In this connection, the CAA has issued a notification which says that the decision would come into effect from today.

It said that the tickets should not be issued to the passengers showing symptoms of Covid-19.

The notification has also barred from issuing the Boarding Cards to such passengers.

It directed to the passengers to wear face mask, maintain social distancing and carry sanitisers at the airports.

The total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus has reached 205,532 in the country while while 4,152 people have so far died from the virus.
