LAHORE: Jameet-e-Islami Ameer Sirajul Haq has said that the death of Munawwar Hassan was not only a loss to his family but to the entire Muslim Ummah.
Delivering a Friday sermon here at Mansoora, the JI chief said that Hassan had spent his entire life for the cause of implementing Islam in the country.
In this struggle, the former JI ameer had traveled from Karachi to Chitral, Siraj added.
He asked the faithful to adopt the way for which Maulana Maududi, Mian Tufail, Qazi Hussain Ahmed and Munawwar Hassan had struggled in their entire lives.
