Jamhoori Wattan Party warns to quit govt if promises not met in 1 week

ISLAMABAD: Jamhoori Wattan Party (JWP)  chief Shahzain Bugti on Wednesday warned of quitting the PTI-led government if the promises made with them were not fulfilled within a weak time.

Speaking to Geo News  on a show “Capital Talk“, the JWP chief and MNA Aslam Bhutani said that if the PTI-led government is serious to address the problems of Balochistan then the prime minister should pass an executive order, or make an announcement on the state-run TV or issue a notification.

Bugti went on the say that the Imran-led government believes in taking U-Turns only.

Last  weak, BNP-M chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal had announced to quit the alliance with the PTI.

Speaking on the floor of the house, the BNP-M chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal said: “Today, I formally announce to withdraw from the alliance with the PTI.”

However, the BNM-M will continue to be the part of the National Assembly, raising the issues in Balochistan, he added.

The BNP-M said that his party had signed two agreements with the PTI-led government. But, unfortunately no part of the agreements was implemented in two years.

The BNP-M has fours seat in the National Assembly and one seat in the Senate.
