India notices “unusual movement” of Chinese air force on border

HYDERABAD, India: Indian Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria has claimed an unusual movement of Chinese air force along the Ladakh border.

Speaking at the combined graduation day parade in Air Force Academy, Dundigal, Bhadauria said that India was aware of the Chinese air bases and deployment of forces along the Line of Actual Control.

“We have observed currently very unusual deployment of Chinese forces along the LAC,”  the India air chief said, adding that India had taken necessary measures.

We have moved our fighter aircraft to the forward air bases, Bhadauria said.

Earlier, according to Indian wire service ANI, at least 20 Indian soldiers were killed in violent clashes with Chinese troops on the night of June 15/16 June in Ladakh.

No arms were used in the physical fight which also involved batons and stones, India media reported citing military sources.

Indian army statement claims that casualties were also occurred on the Chinese side.
