Solar eclipse visible across Pakistan

PMD says Pakistan to miss last solar eclipse of 2024

KARACHI: Annular solar eclipse is currently visible across Pakistan and other parts of the world on Sunday.

According to meteorologists, the eclipse will be visible for a few hours.

The eclipse is visible in Karachi from 9:26am to 12:46pm, in Islamabad from 9:50am to 1:36pm, in Peshawar from 9:48am to 1:02pm, in Lahore from 9:48am to 1:10pm, in Muzaffarabad from 9:52am to 1:07pm, Quetta from 9:35am to 12:49pm while in Gilgit from 9:56am to 1:08pm.

This is the first solar eclipse of this year. The second eclipse will be visible on December 14.
