MULTAN: Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Senator Sirajul Haq on Saturday said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had prepared the budget on imaginations.
Speaking to the media here, the JI leader said that the per capita income had been declining since the PTI-led government came to the power. He said that the federal budget was prepared on imaginations.
Every party had made a promise to the people of South Punjab of creating a new province in the elections but not a single penny has been earmarked in the budget in this connection, Siraj recalled.
He said that the federal and the provincial budgets have caused a loss to the people of south Punjab. The both budgets have no relief for the people of region.
The JI chief added that the people of South Punjab had badly been affected by the locust attacks and coronavirus pandemic.
