LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Senator Sirajul Haq on Thursday said that the government wanted to push the nation towards the non-issues to divert attention from the genuine problems.
Speaking at an inauguration ceremony of “Al-Khidmat Dastarkhawan” in front of the party’s headquarters Mansoora, the JI chief said that the prime minister should had held a meeting with the Sindh government officials and all the stakeholders during his visit to the province.
The meeting would have been helpful in reducing the gulf between the centre and the province, Siraj added.
He said that the masses wanted to get rid off the coronavirus and economic issues. But, he added, the government is pushing the nation towards the non-issues so that attention from the real problems could be diverted.
