KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami Sindh Ameer Muhammad Hussain Mehanti on Monday contracted the coronavirus infection.
According to JI Sindh Secretary General Kashif Saeed Sheikh, the former MNA was not feeling well for the past few days and was at home. Today his coronavirus test came back positive.
Mahanti has isolated himself at his home.
Sheikh has appealed to the people to pray for the early recovery of Muhammad Hussain Mehanti.
The number of coronavirus infections have reached over 55,000 in Sindh while 853 people have died from the virus.
