ISLAMABAD: The PTI-led federal government on Friday presented a Rs7.14 trillion budget for the fiscal year 2020-21.
Minister for Industries and Production Hammad Azhar presented the budget in the parliament.
In the budget speech, Azhar said that dealing with accountability and corruption had been the top priorities of the government.
He said that due to the poor policies of the previous governments the reserves of the State Bank of Pakistan had decreased to $10 billion from $18 bilion.
Pakistan had been placed on the FATF grey list due to lack of solid policies, he added.
On the occasion, the opposition members raised slogans against the government and also waved placards inscribed with slogans against the prime minister and his cabinet.
