ISLAMABAD: Aviation Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan on Wednesday reassuring a transparent inquiry into the PIA plane crash incident said that the report would be presented in the parliament.
Expressing his views in the parliament here, the federal minister said that no inquiry report of any past plane crash had ever come to light. Neither anyone held responsible nor punished, he added.
“Someone has to be held responsible and punished”, he said. We have to fix the things, therefore, accountability is a must to ensure such incidents do not happen in future.
There have been some concerns over the impartiality of the inquiry report in some quarters. But, I promise you, the inquiry will be transparent and the report will be presented in the house on June 22 Awan told the parliament.
