PML-N spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb, her mother test positive for coronavirus

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-N Spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb has contracted coronavirus infection.

According to PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal, Maryam Aurangzeb and her mother tested positive for coronavirus.

In a message posted on Twitter, Iqbal wished early recovery of Maryam Aurangzeb and her mother from the virus infection.

He said that Maryam Aurangzeb was the party’s bold voice.

Earlier on Monday, former prime minister and PML-N central leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi had contracted the coronavirus.

According to his family, the former prime minister had got himself tested on Sunday. His report came back positive today (Monday), the family added.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi had quarantined himself at his residence.

The spread of coronavirus is on the rise across the country as Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed had also contracted the virus on Monday.

The federal minister had developed no symptoms of the virus but his reported came back positive for coronavirus.

He had isolated himself for two weeks.

Rasheed said that he would get himself tested after a week.
