LAHORE: Pakistan’s most successful Test batsman ever Younis Khan has been appointed as batting coach for the national team’s upcoming tour of England.
The Pakistan team will play three Tests and three T20 during the England tour starting from August.
The Pakistan Cricket Board PCB has also named former leg-spinner Mushtaq Ahmed as spin bowling coach and mentor of the team for the tour.
Wasim Khan, the chief executive of the PCB said he is happy that the legendary cricketer Younis Khan had agreed to join the national team as a batting coach.
Younis Khan is role model for a number of players in the team, he added.
