ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister and PML-N central leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has contracted the coronavirus.
According to his family, the former prime minister had got himself tested yesterday (Sunday). His report came back positive today (Monday), the family added.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has quarantined himself at his residence.
During the last 24 hours, 4,728 new cases and 65 deaths have been in the country.
Earlier on Sunday, PPP MPA Sharjeel Memon had tested positive for coronavirus.
The PPP leader is a focal person of Sindh government in Hyderabad for coronavirus.
