LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-N spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb on Sunday demanded arrest of Prime Minister Imran and Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar for their role in sugar crisis.
The PML-N leader alleged that the Imran-mafia itself was a sugar mafia as the prime minister and Punjab chief minister had accorded approval to sugar theft in the cabinet and the economic coordination committee (ECC).
Maryam said that the prime minister was claiming of doing accountability after allowing Jehangir Tareen to flee to London. I don’t understand whom are they fooling?
She stated this while responding to the statement of Information Minister Shibli Faraz on the sugar mafia.
Earlier, Faraz said on his Twitter account that the prime minister had promised to take action against the sugar mafia and the promise would soon be met.
