Govt decides to close big markets for violating SOPs

ISLAMABAD: All the big markets across the country will be closed today for violating the standard operating procedures SOPs, a special assistant to the prime minister says.

Dr Shahbaz Gill in a message on Twitter late Wednesday night said: ” For not following the SOPs in the wake of NCOC decisions several markets will be closed across the country today. Operation has begun in Punjab and KPK. We should all follow the SOPs at all costs.”

Meanwhile, a local TV reported that all the big markets will be shut in the wake of NCOC decisions. Industrial areas, markets and transport will be made to follow SOPs while fines will be slapped on the violators.
