ISLAMABAD: The government on Sunday reduced the petrol price by Rs7.6 per litre.
According a notification of the finance ministry, after the reduction of Rs7.6 per litre, the new price of petrol is Rs74.5 while the price of diesel has been increased by Rs0.5 per. The new price of diesel is Rs80.15.
The notification added that the price of lite diesel oil has been slashed by Rs9.37 per litre. The new price of lite diesel oil is Rs38.14 per litre.
The price of kerosene oil has been set at Rs35.56, showing a reduction of Rs11.88 per litre.
The new petroleum prices will take effect from midnight, the notifications says.
