QUETTA: A blast being carried out by an improvised explosive device killed at least two persons and injured 16 others at the city’s Eastern Bypass here on Tuesday.
Unknown miscreants had planted the explosive device in a motorcycle parked outside a medical store, Quetta DIG Abdul Razzaq Cheema said.
He said that the injured were shifted to the Civil Hospital Quetta.
An emergency was declared at the hospital, he said.
Cheema added that two of the injured succumbed to their injuries on their way to the hospital.
